I am so thrilled you like my previous creations! To have a glorious Pemberley Bakes cake of your own please message me via the contact us section of this site, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please contact me as soon as you possibly can and allow a minimum of 14 days notice before your event. I'm afraid I can't guarantee that I will be available so get in touch early to avoid disappointment!
We most certainly do! There's no need for anyone to miss out on a piece of extraordinary cake. Just let us know any dietary requirements when getting in touch for a quote.
Please be aware that our premises handles products that contain gluten, nuts and dairy and may contain traces so if you have a severe allergy you may wish to contact a specialist baker.
All Pemberley Bakes creations are as unique as you and therefore priced individually. Your quote will vary depending on the size, complexity of the design, decorations and most importantly the time it takes to create. Pemberley Bakes cakes are bigger than your average too and sometimes size does matter. My most popular single tiered layer cakes are at least 5"-6" tall!
How much does cake cost? As a guide:
For all cakes, big or small, I ask for a 50% upfront payment to secure the date and get you booked in to my diary. The remaining 50% is due in full at least five days before the collection/delivery date. If your order is placed within two weeks of the date your cake is required I will need full payment upfront.
I accept payment via online bank transfer (BACS). Details of which will be discussed once your quote has been accepted.
Simply put, nope. Our cakes are decorated with buttercream, ganache or cream cheese icing. However, if you order a Princess Consuela unicorn cake fondant will be used for some of the decorations. Some themes may require small fondant decorations but we don't make fully covered fondant novelty cakes.
If you are collecting your cake from our premises in Barnehurst, it will be the most secure on front passenger footwell as it's the flattest and most stable area. Just make sure the heating isn't on! Once home or at the venue keep your cake in a cool place away from direct sunlight. I recommend storing it as air tight as possible or wrap the box in clingfilm. Bring to room temperature an hour before serving. Cold, rock solid buttercream doesn't taste all that nice!
There will also be support dowels so keep an eye out for those when cutting the cake and most importantly, enjoy!
I am based in the Barnehurst/Bexleyheath area and offer delivery and set-up for an additional fee. The costs will be included in the price quoted to you when placing your order. If you are placing your wedding cake with us we would not recommend collection or setting up yourself, so take the added stress away and leave that to us!
I cover Kent and London including Bexleyheath, Erith, Bexley, Sidcup, Welling, Charlton, Falconwood, Dartford, Gravesend, Northfleet, Higham, Greenhithe, Meopham, Longfield, New Barn, Vigo, Borough Green and many more.
